Menswear Fall 2013 A.P.C. : Images via Style.com
Although I’ll probably fall into comfort fashion again (i.e. hoodies, pullover hoodies etc.) during mid-year of my college semester I thought it would be fun to have a gander around for back to school inspiration. Clean, versatile, repeatable and season appropriate comes into my mind when looking for inspiration. I checked out fall 2013 menswear collection in style.com to browse at some menswear collections from some designers.
Usually I don’t ever hover over to A.P.C. but I was curious this time around. Simple styling, heavy use of dark colors and textures invited me fully into the collection. Most of it is pretty straightforward with the attire as well with one thing in mind, simplicity. The collection really reflects what could be possible worn when fall season hits. Not too thick or too thin either and the addition of strong fall colours like burgundy, grey, navy and brown helps as well with the outfits non-fussiness.
My favorites from this collection has to be the outfit with the burgundy jacket and the tweed harrington jacket. These two for me are the strongest looks in the whole collection since both managed to sell me that the fact a corduroy and a harrington jacket in tweed can actually look good. Changed my opinion about those jackets a little bit. Specially the corduroy jacket. Helps having it in a strong color like burgundy.
Had to edit down the photos since there was more than ten looks, but here's the link to the A.P.C. fall 2013 Menswear [ link ] for easy access because I'm a kind person.
